R+P Post 15: Our filming location, set design and props

Location
Laith's House : this was the set we used for the antagonists house.

Forest : this was the set we used for the kidnapping. A solitary area where no one will be able to see the action take place.

School Classroom : this was the set we used for the news anchor, we thought this would give it a very professional look.

Set design and props
Laith's House : we tried to use low light so that it would seem more mysterious creating an anxious effect on the audience. The antagonist has a hood on when going up the stairs, then takes it off when he goes into the room by himself.

The school room : We moved the tables and chairs around so that we could have space to set up the room. We had a single table and large chair with a glass window to an office as the backdrop. Through that you could see people working, much like the workers on BBC. In terms of props, the news anchor has a lapel mic to listen through to make the interaction seem more engaging. There was a laptop on the table as well as sheets of paper to notes.

Forest : For the forest there was no design as everything looked how we wanted.
